SHARON IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Never ever underestimate the value of entering and winning a contest. My writing career was launched when I decided to step out on faith to submit a story that I had written in memory of my dear brother, Mr. Gerald E. Sistrunk, whom I lost to suicide several years ago. It took courage because I knew that I would be sharing a very personal moment of my life, but I also felt very confident that, through God’s amazing grace, I had written a very powerful offering that could help others feel hope in the midst of their trials.
