I met this person once, and I told him God was awesome or something of that nature. And he replied with the statement, “God is OUTRAGEOUS.” I’d never heard God described that way, but out if it came this song. Now I know that the word “outrageous” can have negative connotations, but think of it in terms of the definitions below, and you’ll really enjoy the sentiment behind this song.
Outrageous definitions
(Australian slang): Cool, excellent, unreal. Other slang definitions: something that is the bomb (cool) and unbelievable; extravagant, extreme unusual over the top.
It kind of reminds me how in slang, when you say “bad” it means “good”. Anyway keep the positive connotation for “outrageous” in mind as you listen to this song.
