I wrote the song ‘Angel Now’ after my dear brother, Mr. Gerald E. Sistrunk, passed away due to suicide. It evokes memories of how he was looking out for us all after my mother died, and now he’s gone!
Angel Now made it through one round of elimination in the Christian Songwriting Contest sponsored by CMUnited.
