Hey there Sunday Song Fam and Friends,
Are you in the Christmas spirit? I have to admit that I haven’t been. It just didn’t seem like the Christmas season was here to me. I mean I haven’t been involved in all the hustle and bustle that usually comes with this time of year. But, I also know that it’s not really about any of that–it’s all about Jesus!
Well, finally yesterday, I listened some Christmas carols and it finally started to sink in. Yes! Christmas is here. I can feel the spirit of Christmas in my heart. And I must remember that that feeling doesn’t have to only be for this time of year, but I can live with the spirit of Christmas in my heart every day.
The spirit of Christmas is joy, peace, hope, and most of all love. Love is the gift that God sent us when He sent His son. And love is the gift that He wants us to generously share with one another.
The Sunday Song I picked today is one that you probably remember from growing up. It’s not a gospel song, but nonetheless, it tells of spreading love to everyone. It’s called “Give Love on Christmas Day,” and I pray that as you listen, you are inspired to get in the holiday spirit and to share love (your love and God’s love) with one and all.
