A Sunday Song from Sharon (I Give Myself Away)
Hey there Sunday Song Fam and Friends,
Last week, in the Sunday Song message, I talked about giving God your all. I want to continue that thought this week.
The song I’ve chosen for this today is called “I Give Myself Away.” This song tells the Lord that I want to be used by Him. Now that’s a wonderful sentiment, but what does it really mean to give yourself away to the Lord?
It means that you no longer live for yourself but that Christ lives in you and through you. Your life is no longer your own. It means that you learn about God, you listen to Him and you try to do things the way He would do them and live the way He would live. It means that you lay everything else down so that you can put God first.
Have you given yourself away?
