Are you busy getting ready for the upcoming Christmas holiday? Have you put up your decorations? Are you taking to the streets getting all your shopping done? Have you decided yet what to cook for your Christmas dinner?
The holiday season is a busy, busy, busy time of year. And all the preparations can be fun, but sometimes they can get a bit stressful for some people. But it’s important not to let all the holiday hoopla get to you and make you miss the real meaning of this time a year. It’s about love, peace, joy–it’s about Christ. Don’t ever forget that Jesus is the reason for the season.
And with that I’d like to introduce my chosen Sunday Song for the day. It’s, of course, Kirk Franklin and the Family’s “Jesus is the Reason.” I love this as a song for the holidays. It helps keep my energy up and my mind focused on the Lord. I hope that as you listen, you are lifted up too, and that it helps you keep your mind stayed on Jesus and on the type of gifts He wants YOU to give to the world.
