A Sunday Song from Sharon (I Came to Magnify the Lord)
Hey there Sunday Song Fam and Friends,
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday thus far.
I want to start off today with a Bible verse, Psalm 34:3, which says ” O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
But what does it mean to “magnify” Him? Well, “magnify” means “extol, laud or glorify.” But another definition of “magnify” is “to make larger.” Well, how do we make God larger?
I would suggest we do so by making God bigger than anyone or anything in our lives. We should consider Him bigger than every problem, situation and circumstance. We should go to Him first before going to any person. We can lift His name higher with praise and thanksgiving for who He is and for everything He’s done.
