A Sunday Song from Sharon (Easter Sunrise Edition–Don’t Cry)
A blessed Easter Sunday to you. I like to do a song at sunrise on Easter for you early risers who celebrate the day at the crack of dawn.
Using this song has become a tradition for me. I’ve used it twice before for the Easter Sunrise Sunday Song. It’s called “Don’t Cry” by Kirk Franklin, and the video is awesome. Have a look and listen.
Because Easter is such a special day, you get double. Watch for another wonderful song later today.
Thanks all for your continued support! Happy Easter!
TODAY’S EASTER SUNRISE SUNDAY SONG, Don’t Cry, Kirk Franklin
KEY VERSES
John 20:11-14
Mary Magdalene stood crying outside the tomb. She was still weeping, when she stooped down and saw two angels inside. They were dressed in white and were sitting where Jesus’ body had been. One was at the head and the other was at the foot. The angels asked Mary, “Why are you crying?” She answered, “They have taken away my Lord’s body! I don’t know where they have put him.” As soon as Mary said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there. But she did not know who he was. 15 Jesus asked her, “Why are you crying? Who are you looking for?”
