A Sunday Song from Sharon (Easter Edition–Revelation 19:1)
He is risen. He is risen indeed. Hallelujah!
Back with you again. Hope you had a chance to listen to the Easter Sunrise song, Don’t Cry, by Kirk Franklin. You don’t want to miss that–it’s beautiful. You can find it in my earlier e-mail or text message.
Because Easter is so special, I like to do two songs. So my second Sunday Song for today is one of my favorite gospel songs of all times. I still remember the first time I heard it. I was blown away and have loved it ever since. It is one that truly makes me cry practically every time I hear it.
The song is called “Revelation 19:1,” otherwise known as “Hallelujah, Salvation and Glory. Revelation 19:1 says “After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.”
God we praise you for you are indeed wonderful.
I want to dedicate this song to everyone on this blessed Easter Sunday, but especially to my wonderful daughters, Havyn and Nia, (they’ll know why).
