A Sunday Song from Sharon (The Center of My Joy)
Hey there Sunday Song Fam and Friends
I went way back in the vault to get today’s Sunday Song. It’s called “The Center of My Joy,” and it’s definitely one of my favorites from back in the day.
I see this song as a love letter to Jesus that recounts all the ways that Jesus has stepped in to our lives to help us and to save us. It speaks of Jesus being the positive to all of our negative situations–being the guide when we are lost, the light when we are in darkness, and the comfort to our sadness.
