Those of us who have children know that we wonder about what they will be when they grow up. But can you imagine what it must have been like for Mary and Joseph as they awaited the birth of their son? I am sure they knew he would be special, but was it hard for them to believe that he would be king?
Mary and Joseph trusted God to the fullest and that’s what we are to do. Their hearts must have been filled with expectation and joy because of the words the angels spoke to them about who he would be. Just imagine what it must have been like to hear that your son would be so great and wonderful, and to know that he would be the fulfillment of God’s promises.
Praise to God for sending His son, our wonderful King Jesus. May you continue to enjoy this blessed Christmas season.
