I love my family. I am the youngest of six children and I have always been very proud of that. Together we have endured a lot.
They worry about me and I understand why. But a very wise person once asked me what’s different about me, what’s different about this time. The difference is that, in accepting myself as I am, I have learned that I have to daily surrender all–sometimes several times a day.
Even though I know I have the Victory, I am learning to surrender my mind, my expectations of how things will unfold, my fears, and my need to control. I am still learning to enjoy myself in the “now” rather than living too much in the past and trying to over-anticipate the future. That”s hard for me, but I am getting there…
