A Sunday Song from Sharon (Mother’s Day Edition–Introducing “God’s Desire”)

Hey there Sunday Song Fam and Friends

Wishing you a wonderful Mother’s Day.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce one of my songs that I feel is most fitting for this occasion.  It is called God’s Desire, and it is written as a love letter from GOD to US.

It speaks of God’s desire for a “divine romance” with us–a romance in which He gives us hope, a future, and plans.  In this song, He expresses His wish for us to trust Him completely and His strong desire for us to recognize Him in the smallest everyday things.

Now, I know that this song is for the Church body as a whole, the Bride of Christ.  But today I would like to especially dedicate it to our mothers.  Listen to the words, and as you do, may you fall in love with God all over again.

Thanks to my dear niece Alona for lending her awesome voice to this song!  I’ll have to tell you the story some time of exactly how this song came to be but that story is for another time and place.

I want to take time to acknowledge my awesome kiddos, Havyn and Nia, who are my inspiration every day.  Love you guys!
