Refreshing the HOPE initiative

Get your HOPE shirt and/or make a donation in support of World Hunger Day.

(Song about hunger and poverty written by Peace Odiase.  Peace and Nia Johnson (my daughter) sang this beautiful song, Put Your Umbrella, at our event.  Fabulous!)

This is His Song is preparing to recognize World Hunger Day on May 28, 2017.  We will once again make available the HOPE t-shirts.  HOPE stands for Hunger Outdated Poverty Eliminated.   We will encourage people to wear their HOPE shirts and perhaps participate in a volunteer, donation or awareness activity locally, nationally or internationally.  We hope that everyone will then share their pictures.  More details to follow.

Meanwhile, take a look back to a few years ago!  This was the HOPE inaugural event, a HOPE Sing-n-Serve held to benefit Gleaners Food Bank in Indianapolis, and Feeding America, nationally.  Friends and fam gathered for a few rehearsals and then met to learn about hunger in Indiana, sing a few selections, and enjoy good company and great fun, all while wearing their HOPE shirts to raise awareness!

What great projects might we see this year!  Stay tuned!

THIS JUST IN–The HOPE T-Shirt campaign is now live from now through May 5th.

GET YOUR SHIRT and support World Hunger Day.
